This event is specifically for incoming 9th graders and any other new students to Wheeling Park High School.
Please choose a session that best fits your family's schedule.
We'll start both sessions in the Gym with a Welcome from Mrs. Dailer.
From there, students will receive their schedule and a tour with one of our wonderful Freshman Mentors.
Students will also be able to pick up their Chromebook, gather school supplies and have some food & fun on our Plaza.
This is a great way to ease those first days jitters! We can't wait to see you.

Tonight's Senior Sunset has been moved to our Gym due to the weather.
As a reminder, students should have RSVP'd for this event.
Chick-Fil-A will be provided for free and LaBowls will be available for purchase.
Tomorrow morning we have MANDATORY Graduation Practice at Capitol Theater. Please plan to be on time and consider parking. There are a couple garages and on-street parking available. Students do not need their caps and gowns, but should bring any outstanding obligations and/or payments. Practice usually lasts about an hour.
And Sunday is Graduation!
As a reminder, students should have RSVP'd for this event.

Most Importantly – Graduation Practice has been moved to Capitol Theater. It is still on Thursday, May 28th at 9 a.m. and it is still mandatory. It won’t be perfect, but still very necessary for kids to understand how our processional and ceremony work.
And lastly, Graduation is on Sunday, May 31st at WesBanco Arena. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the ceremony will start promptly at 3 p.m.

We will continue with our CyberSwat Lessons throughout this week in Developmental Guidance.
We have a great Festival of Spring concert this Thursday at 7 pm in the Performing Arts Center.
For everyone, as we get closer to wrapping up, we want to remind you that Chromebooks will be collected on the last days of school. Attached is the replacement pricing should items be lost or broken.
Seniors – All week you can check the spelling of your name and academic honors for graduation in the Main Office. You may then purchase your stoles & cords in advance, online or you can wait and purchase everything at Senior Checkout. Your last day is Friday, May 22nd.
Lastly, we encourage all families to attend our LSIC Stakeholder meeting this Tuesday at 5:30 in the ILC. We are specifically sharing the many things Wheeling Park High School does to help students find their post-graduation pathway. Please come hear from us and share your feedback. We’ll have snacks and some prizes as well.

Second – Our students can access their PSAT & SAT Test Day Scores on Thursday. Students created their own College Board accounts. We’ve worked with kids to help them document the email and password they used. However, Wheeling Park has no control or access to those accounts. If you have difficulty logging in to see scores, you’ll need to reach out directly to College Board.
Third – This Friday we will start our state mandated cyber safety lessons. This law specifically mandates education centered around sexploitation, cyberbullying, and other difficult topics. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We’re doing all the things to spoil them, but I’m positive a few nice messages from families and students would be very much appreciated!
Tomorrow morning, our signs up for Summer School will open. We offer in-person credit recovery for Math, English, Science & Social Studies. We also offer in-person summer Physical Education. The PE class is capped at around 60 kids and is on a first come first served basis. Please use the links on Schoology to sign up.
