The Wheeling Park High School School Counseling Department is committed to supporting every student as they navigate their high school journey and prepare for life beyond graduation. Through individualized academic scheduling, comprehensive career exploration and planning, and intentional social-emotional learning opportunities, our counselors work to ensure that students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to thrive. By fostering meaningful relationships and helping students identify their strengths, interests, and goals, the counseling department empowers all Patriots to make informed decisions and confidently pursue their chosen pathways in education, enlistment, employment, and life.

To foster strong, meaningful connections with students and families, counselors are assigned caseloads alphabetically by student last name and remain with those students throughout their high school experience whenever possible. This structure allows counselors to develop lasting relationships, gain a deeper understanding of each student's academic progress, personal strengths, and individual needs, and provide consistent guidance over time. By maintaining these long-term partnerships, counselors are better equipped to offer personalized support, collaborate effectively with families and staff, and ensure that every student feels known, valued, and supported throughout their years at Wheeling Park High School.
