Wheeling Park High School, located in Wheeling, West Virginia, opened in 1976 as the result of the consolidation of Wheeling, Triadelphia, and Warwood High Schools. Known as the "Palace on the Hill," the school serves as the sole public high school in Ohio County and has become a centerpiece of education, athletics, and community life in the Northern Panhandle.

Home of the Patriots, Wheeling Park High School is recognized for its strong academic programs, award-winning fine arts and speech teams, comprehensive career and technical education opportunities, and a proud athletic tradition. In recent years, Wheeling Park High School has undergone more than $22 million in bond-funded renovations and additions that have transformed the nearly 50-year-old facility while maintaining full school operations. Improvements included a new secure main entrance and administrative offices, extensive renovations to science and music classrooms, upgraded HVAC and lighting systems, new windows and doors, enhanced safety and security features, ADA accessibility improvements, renovated athletic locker rooms, a wrestling practice facility, and the addition of the state-of-the-art J.B. Chambers Performing Arts Center. These investments have modernized the campus and created learning spaces that better support the needs of today's students and staff.

As Wheeling Park High School approaches its 50th anniversary, it continues to honor its rich traditions while embracing innovation and providing students with exceptional opportunities to learn, lead, and serve their community.
