Check out all the events happening this week at Wheeling Park High School!
This week we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week and wrapping up Breast Cancer Awareness month. On Tuesday, we encourage students to wear red and stand against drug and alcohol abuse. On Thursday, our Community in Schools team is hosting a Halloween dress up day. Students may wear costumes as long as they still maintain our dress code basics. For those students that don’t wish to dress up, we encourage you to wear Pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. We will be doing a collection Thursday morning with all proceeds supporting the Heather Schultz Memorial, a former teacher in Ohio County Schools. And lastly, as a reminder, Friday is a PL Day for staff and students do not report.

Homecoming Tickets
Apologies for the ongoing issues we’ve had with the online ticket sales for Homecoming. We believe the issue is resolved and students can purchase their tickets now.
ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10th at 11:59.
Please read the following directions and suggestions to avoid a delay in purchase.
Your access code is your student ID number.
If you have an outside guest, you will receive a specific code via Schoology from Mrs. Hood.
You only have 15 minutes to purchase your ticket once you have entered your code or ID number. After 15 minutes, your code will become invalid and can no longer be used.
GoFan accepts the following payments: Credit Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. No other payment types are accepted. If you must pay cash for your tickets, please make arrangements with the Student Management Staff.
Suggestions:
Do NOT just login in to see if your code works, only log in when you are ready to purchase your ticket. If your code times out it will no longer be able to be used to purchase a ticket.
When logging in be sure to have your form of payment ready to go. This means have the credit card in your hand or have ready access to your Apple / Google Pay.
It may take a few minutes for you to receive your ticket from GoFan. Occasionally, the site will have delays in sending out your ticket. If you do not receive your ticket within 5 to 10 minutes, then you should seek help with your purchase.
Please make every effort to provide all the necessary information on the GoFan site. Guest tickets will require the guest to enter their date’s name.

This is a corrected LSIC Ballot.
All previous votes were deleted, so please feel free to vote again. We ask for student ID numbers only to ensure families are not voting twice. We do not cross reference numbers with names; we simply remove any duplicates before tallying votes. The ballot now closes on Monday, Sept. 15.
